Seeking Harmony

Conflict occurs when we’re not aligned with what we want. When we’re frustrated with things “not working out” the way we’d like in the timeframe we want, then that sense of urgency throws us off balance and we get even more impatient. But as we learn to stop trying to force things into alignment and start ‘allowing’, things become harmonious much more quickly.

“When you are in harmony with your Self, you are balanced, centered, and aware.”

M. Wallace

But how do we do that? When we want something, it can be extremely difficult to let go of our attachment to all the specific details we want and that exact desired outcome we have set up in our minds as the only ultimate one. The best way to get started is to be crystal clear on what we want to feel as a result of having received our heart’s desire.

“With the right alignment, everything you want makes its way into your experience. You are the keeper of your own gate.”

Esther Hicks

The key to getting past those ‘how will it happen?’ or ‘it must happen this way!’ kind of thoughts is to state what we want in a general way and intend ‘this or something better now happens for me in divine timing.’ And then forget about it. This means we don’t obsess over it and bring our worry energy into it.

That may seem counterintuitive, but really, it’s when we get out of our own way, and not attach to the details of our goal (only the way we want to feel when we achieve it) that we can really get into harmony with and allow for the universe to bring that or something even better to us in the quickest way possible.

“When you are in alignment with the desires of your heart, things have a way of working out.”
