How many times have we wished that our life could be different in some way- that we could somehow have better health, more positive, fulfilling relationships, or a deeper level of satisfaction in our life? We’ve all done this in one area of our life or another, probably hundreds or thousands of times.
However, just wishing for something is (usually) not enough. We must take some sort of action to make any kind of change. The first step is to realize that how we think about the thing we want to change is extremely important. When we think in terms of lack and what we don’t want, what most people don’t understand is that we will continue to bring more of that negativity to us. But, when we focus on what we do want, and what we welcome more of, then we will get more of that goodness.
By living with intention and focusing on vibrant health and wholeness, harmony, love, and joy we send out the signal that life is going beautifully, and we feel good, so therefore life reflects to us all that we have focused on. No, it may not happen overnight, but it will happen. It’s inevitable, because what we think about most often and with the most emotion behind it, WILL show up in life in one way or another.
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
Eckhart Tolle
Our attention is a powerful tool we can use to focus our thoughts and feelings on our blessings. We all have blessings; we just need to acknowledge them and invite more of them to us. When we live in continuous gratitude for all the good things we have and experience, the more we will have to be grateful for: more love, more prosperity, more joy, more energy, etc.
Today, think about all that is beautiful and positive in life and let the intentions we set be ones that bring about the changes we want. Then, take action to get it started.
“…creative power operates like a magnet. Give it a strong clear picture of what you want and this creative power starts to work magnetizing conditions about you — attracting to you things, resources, opportunities, circumstances and even the people you need, to help bring to pass in your outer life what you have pictured.”
Claude M. Bristol
