Sometimes we have a flash of intuition, an inner knowing about something, but we don’t know HOW we know it. This inner wisdom can come as a picture that pops in our head, or we may hear a sound or word or phrase or even a taste or scent that gets our attention, or it could be just a feeling, a hunch. This can be difficult to explain, and to accept, but if we learn to trust ourselves, we will find that it will help us make better decisions, be more confident, and things will go more smoothly in our lives.
“Learn to trust yourself and you will create a meaningful life.”
Lynn A. Robinson
If we are constantly living from a place of fear, focusing on what could go wrong, afraid we are just ‘making things up’ when we go with our intuition then we are only setting up more blocks to keep this innate part of ourselves diminished.
It is important that we have an openness and willingness to let go of what we consider to be logical, and to be ready to make changes even if we feel it is inconvenient, because if we follow our intuition, then it is always going to lead us in the right direction. It may not make sense, it may be completely different than what we had originally planned, but if we trust ourselves, then we will be even happier than we imagined.
“Listen to your inner voice. Trust your intuition. It’s important to have the courage to trust yourself.”
Dawn Ostroff
