Life has meaning, and you have a purpose, although sometimes it can be difficult to ascertain what that purpose is. Therefore, every so often you need to take time to think deeply about yourself and your life, to gain insight into what is important to you and what you should release to give more space and energy for what you genuinely want, rather than settle for less.
“Ask yourself if what you’re doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.”
Radmaverix
As you reflect on what you’d like to improve, do not let fear or discouragement overwhelm you. Start with slight changes and adjust as needed as you continue to make progress. The key is to be compassionate with yourself as you dig into what may be painful or difficult to think about. As you learn to let go of what is holding you back or what is no longer working for you, it is especially important that you be honest with yourself.
Additionally, it is just as important to acknowledge and express gratitude for what is going right. Every step you take toward your goal is a blessing in and of itself. As you find meaningful work and commit to utilizing your talents to create a reflection of who you are, always do your best and take the time to do what you are capable of, because you are worth it.
“Self-analysis requires reconsideration of who we think we are. Self-awareness requires us to reassess where we came from and where we are going.”
Kilroy J. Oldster
