Fear is a natural reaction that everyone experiences at one time or another. It is an extremely powerful emotion that can completely take over our thoughts and cause us to react with fight, flight, or freeze mode.
There are lots of reasons as to why someone feels fear, but a common reason we feel fearful and panicked is when we are unsure of what may happen in the future. However, we need to call upon our courage and face the fear with bravery. Instead of letting fear cloud our minds, if we allow ourselves to relax and resolve to take one step at a time, then the way forward will become clear and we will be free to let go of the limitations that fear put on us.
Overcoming fear is not easy, but by shifting our perspective and taking initiative to go within and figure out the source of the fear, then we take back our power and can release the hold that fear has over us. While it is ultimately up to us to decide how we will handle our fears there is no reason why we have to face it alone; it is okay to reach out to others for some support as we proceed ahead.
Each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them. How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.
