Embracing Change

While change can be scary and bring up feelings of fear, pain, and resistance, it is important that we not remain stuck in certain habits and patterns that are not good for us. We owe it to ourselves to bring our best self forward and enjoy what life has to offer, instead of only wishing things were better, yet not doing anything about facilitating that positive shift.

When we want to change something about ourselves or our lives, we must let go of any resistance we feel toward change. Often, this results in dealing with pain because change is usually not easy. However, when we listen to our intuition and learn to trust that inner wisdom, we will become open and receptive to new opportunities for growth and development, which in turn will attract brilliant ideas and insights that have the power to change our lives.

We can create the life we want by shifting our perspective, integrating better habits, and choosing to release what is no longer working for us. Then we can then focus on transforming our lives in myriad ways we had not realized was possible before. When those opportunities present themselves, we must then take a deep breath and step forward with courage, knowing that we always have the power to choose something different.

Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.
