Reevaluation

We all need to take time for a period of reevaluation, where we ask ourselves some tough questions about what our priorities are, and how best to bring all the areas of our lives into alignment with them.

As we get older, we often reflect on the past – what we could have or should have done differently, as well as what we’re satisfied with. As we become aware of time quickly passing, we should use this course of reevaluation to implement changes in the direction of our lives and to use the opportunities to grow and develop in ways that we hadn’t done previously. We may find our goals have changed and we will need to direct our attention to achieving those new goals. Or we may dedicate ourselves to living in the present moment, enjoying the beauty and wonder all around us.

Whatever we discover about ourselves during this process, it is sure to make us more appreciative of what brought us to this point and will fuel our enthusiasm to embrace the next phase of our lives.

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
