If you have a “me against the world” attitude, you need to take care of it before it turns into a much larger problem. Do not let yourself indulge in a self-pity mentality, because being stuck in resentment and anger is not good for anyone.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself; don’t allow yourself to wallow in misery for too long. Take a minute, feel it fully, then let it go. While others may have been part of the problem, don’t just lay the blame on someone else. Ask yourself what you did to contribute to it, and take responsibility for your part in the situation.
Create a plan to change for the better, then take the steps to do so. Life will be so much better if you drop the negative attitude and do what you can to shift your outlook.
Discontent, blaming, complaining, self-pity cannot serve as a foundation for a good future, no matter how much effort you make.
