No one person is exactly like another, because people are different in so many ways – and not just outward appearances. We each have different perspectives, experiences, and dreams. Yet despite apparent inequalities, there is tremendous potential in each of us, although we are not all expressing it to the same degree. Some people have cultivated it, others have neglected it, and still others don’t even realize they have it.
No matter who you are, where you live, or what your circumstances are, beneath the differences brought about by culture, environment, and other factors, we all have potential to do something amazing with our lives and help make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Human potential, though not always apparent, is there waiting to be discovered and invited forth.
William Watson Purkey
