Every day we have to balance the responsibilities of life: work at home, outside the home, family, as well as all other areas of life, and it can be overwhelming. No matter what you want to accomplish, it is good to make a plan.
Get clear about the tasks you want to accomplish each day; develop a schedule and set aside a certain amount of time to work toward your goals each day and follow through with it. You will be more likely to get everything done because it will become a part of your routine. Still, this does not mean all work all the time, because you will end up cranky, tired, and resentful.
It is imperative to have a good balance between work and play. Do not allow distractions and such as TV, social media sites and other time wasters, during your work period. This will allow you to get your work done in a timely manner, and you will feel less stressed. When you have accomplished your daily tasks then you can relax and reward yourself with your favorite downtime activities. You’ll be able to enjoy it so much more, knowing that your work is done for the time being.
Have regular hours for work and play; make each day both useful and pleasant and prove that you understand the worth of time by employing it well. Then youth will be delightful, old age will bring few regrets, and life will become a beautiful success.
