Changing Perspectives

For some reason, it seems like it’s always harder to focus on what we want, and easier to focus on what we lack. We may feel we somehow don’t deserve for things to work out how we want them to. However, have faith that whatever isn’t working out (no matter how hard we try) is probably not working out because something better is on its way.

When you recognize that you are feeling fearful or insecure, try to eliminate negative thoughts and words and replace them with more optimistic ones. Practice looking at things from different and better perspectives. Let go of your need to control the situation; try to observe rather than react and open yourself to the possibility that it will work out in an amazing way that you hadn’t thought of.

We don’t see things as they are – we see things as we are.
