Procrastination

Sometimes we may put things off, especially errands or tasks we really don’t want to do, rather than jumping in and getting them taken care of. However, most of the time it is a good idea to just go ahead and complete our tasks so that they do not become overwhelming. When the work piles up, it can seem almost impossible to get through it, which then leads to more procrastination.

Breaking large tasks up into smaller ones can help make it easier to accomplish what we need to do. If it seems too much for one person to handle, you can always ask for help and work together to get it done.

Is there something you have been putting off that you know you should do? If so, take a few minutes to plan out what needs to be done first, and if necessary, set a time limit for your goal if that will help you stick with it. As you cross items off your to-do list, you will feel better knowing you have one less thing to deal with later.

Whatsoever thou resolvest to do, do it quickly. Defer not till the evening what the morning may accomplish.

Unto Thee I Grant
